Reflections
What is your personal definition of grace?
Do you have a thorn in your flesh? What is your thorn?
What do you do when you've prayed and God doesn't respond the way you want Him to? How do you handle it?

1 Corinthians 1:27
But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong.
If you’ve ever felt unqualified, overlooked, or like you don’t quite measure up, this verse is for you. God has a way of flipping the script, using the unlikely to do the unimaginable. The world may look for power, credentials, and clout, but God looks at the heart. He takes the broken, the weak, and the underestimated and turns them into vessels for His glory. So, if you’re feeling less-than, take heart—God’s strength is made perfect in your weakness. Your “not enough” is exactly where His “more than enough” shines.
1 Corinthians 13:2
If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing.
Let’s be real: this verse is a gut check. You can have all the spiritual gifts, all the accomplishments, and all the faith in the world, but without love? It’s meaningless. Love isn’t just a nice add-on; it’s the whole point. And not the easy, surface-level kind of love, but the kind that’s patient, kind, and selfless—the kind that looks like Jesus. This verse challenges us to check our motives and make sure love is at the center of everything we do. Because at the end of the day, it’s not about how much you know or achieve; it’s about how well you loved.
2 Corinthians 12:9
But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.
If there’s one thing we all hate, it’s feeling weak. But Paul flips the script here, reminding us that our weaknesses aren’t liabilities—they’re opportunities for God’s power to shine. When we stop pretending we have it all together, we make room for His grace to do what we can’t. So, the next time you’re feeling overwhelmed, remember: it’s not about your strength; it’s about His. And His grace? It’s more than enough.
